Jarrett Allen and his wife are “All in This Together” — for life!

The Cleveland Cavaliers player, 27, tied the knot with Jordyn January while surrounded by loved ones this weekend. They marked the occasion by doing a High School Musical dance as the movie’s soundtrack played for their guests.

In a choreographed display that would make even Kenny Ortega proud, the NBA center, January and their wedding party — decked out in matching blue attire — could be seen dancing to the 2006 film’s signature song “We’re All in This Together” in a clip shared by one of Allen’s former teammates.

Isaac Okoro, a former Cavaliers player who recently joined the Chicago Bulls, shared footage of the heartwarming moment to his Instagram Stories on Sunday, July 27. In the clip, the newlyweds could be seen wearing their tux and dress as they pulled off a few spins and replicated the moves of Troy Bolton with ease.

Allen wasn’t the only NBA player getting his head in the game either, as Okoro also posted footage of teammate Dean Wade getting into the groove alongside a crying emoji.

“Very tough watch here,” Wade joked on his own Instagram Stories in response to a zoomed-in clip of himself.

The HSM nod at Allen’s wedding only makes sense, as the baller notes in his Instagram bio that he’s a center for the “East Side Wildcats,” the fictional team from the Disney Channel original movie.

According to his Instagram, Allen and January have been dating since 2016, as the athlete has continued to share snaps and messages dedicated to his partner for the better part of the last decade, referring to her as “one of a kind.” Allen previously announced the pair’s engagement back in July 2023, alongside a snap of him popping the question on a beach, with the caption, “She’s mine. Find your own 💍.”

Ortega, the director of the HSM franchise, caught up with PEOPLE at opening night of Stranger Things: The First Shadow on Broadway earlier this year, where he recalled one of his most vivid memories about filming the first movie and that specific dance routine.

“There are a lot of them [memories], so many of them,” Ortega, 75, said. “But we were filming [the first] High School Musical, and we were filming the finale, ‘We’re All in This Together.’ And we had all these cameras going, and the cast and the dancers, and I looked into the gymnasium and I said, ‘Man, if Disney does the job we’re doing here, this is going to reach a lot of people.'”

“And I took the cast, and I put them in a circle, and I said, ‘Get ready. I think your lives are going to change.’ And they remember that moment as I do,” he added. “[I] just had this premonition, this feeling that we were up to something that was going to matter.”

The film, starring  Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale, spawned two sequels, the third of which was released in theaters in 2008 and earned over $250 million worldwide at the box office, per Variety.

As for the director’s favorite songs from the franchise, he added that he’s a big fan of “Get Your Head in the Game.”

“There’s so many fabulous [songs]. I couldn’t even begin. We had three albums and all of them just eclipsed anything that had ever happened for a television soundtrack,” Ortega said. “And the writers that we had working with us on were of the great composer lyricists, working in film, and television and theater. So yeah, an endless list of favorites.”
