Jenna Bush Hager has a slight bone to pick with her co-host this week, Tina Fey.
While welcoming the actress and comedian as the guest host of Today with Jenna & Friends on Tuesday, April 29, the talk show personality wasn’t shy to give Fey a candid review of a Saturday Night Live sketch she did 20 years ago.

Back in 2005, when Bush Hager’s dad, George W. Bush, was president of the United States, Fey and Amy Poehler did a comical SNL skit about Bush Hager and her twin sister, Barbara Bush.
And while Jenna approved of Poehler’s portrayal of her, she thinks Fey missed the mark with her version of Barbara.

“I think Amy got me right,” Jenna told Fey on Tuesday’s episode, before insisting that Barbara is much smarter than Fey played her to be.
“You know, Barbara went to Yale,” Jenna, 43, said in defense of her twin sis, adding that she only “missed one problem on the math SATs.”
In the skit, Fey and Poehler played the Bush twins hanging out in their bedroom at the White House after attending the inaugural ball, where Jenna was played as having too much to drink. Barbara’s portrayal was more straight edge, though neither of the sisters were represented as being particularly smart in the sketch.
“[Barbara] was sort of type cast,” Jenna declared, while Fey nodded and seemed to agree.
But as for Poehler’s depiction of Jenna, the Today show personality admitted, “I was what Amy said I was,” which made Fey double over in laughter.
