Nearly 20 years after the 2006 film released, the actress, 42, was spotted filming the sequel in New York City on Tuesday, July 29, reprising her role as Emily Charlton.
Blunt wore shades and a chic black-and-white outfit for the scene, donning her character’s red hair once again.
Blunt is among several costars returning for the followup movie: Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci have all been photographed filming in New York City in recent weeks.

Based on the novel by Lauren Weisberger, the first film starred Hathaway, now 42, as Runway magazine intern Andy Sachs, who has to prove herself to the intimidating editor-in-chief Miranda Priestley (Streep, now 76, who earned an Oscar nomination for her performance). Blunt played Priestley’s cutthroat assistant Emily, and Tucci, now 64, was art director Nigel.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is in theaters May 2026.
