Fans of the popular medical drama Chicago Medare ecstatic after watching the new episode and seeing Mekia Cox back on their screens.
The actress made a surprise return to the show as her character Robin Charles after being absent for five seasons, with the last time Cox appeared in the show in Season 5, Episode 9, “I Can’t Imagine the Future.”

Robin showed up in the latest episode of Chicago Med in a scene with her character’s sister Anna, portrayed by Hannah Riley, and her father, Dr. Daniel Charles, played by Oliver Platt.
Stunned fans rushed to social media to share the exciting news, with one writing on X, “my heart makes me so happy seeing robin again like that’s my girl 🥺🫶🏻 #ChicagoMed.”

It’s unclear if Cox will appear in future episodes of Chicago Med or if this was just a rare cameo. The actress’ character Robin was a key character throughout Seasons 1 and 2. Cox currently stars on The Rookie as Nyla Harper.
