One beloved Disney character got a whole new look.
The Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, Jack Skellington, received a new makeover for the upcoming spooky season!
On Monday, May 12, Disney Parks uploaded an Instagram video unveiling Jack Skellington and Sally’s new looks! The Pumpkin King’s new look follows his previous creepy mask, which fans weren’t too fond of, calling it “horrific.” But now, fans of the hit stop-motion feature film are elated to see his new “amazing” transformation.
Jack, notably the star of the 1993 animated classic, The Nightmare Before Christmas, wore a black and white pinstripe suit, accentuating his skeletal frame and spooky smile — and his new mask embodies that signature smirk!

Disney captioned the Instagram, “What’s This? The Pumpkin King is making a wicked return this Halloween season 🎃🖤 #DisneyParks #JackSkellington #NightmareBeforeChristmas.”
Quickly, fans flooded the comment section. “Screaming, crying, throwing up!!!!!! The mask!!!! Are you kidding me?!?!? I’m in love!!!!!”
“Finally, the Jack we deserve,” one user wrote, and another added, “Thank you for changing that horrific mask.”
“The best announcement to wake up to! And Jack looks amazing! 💀,” added another user. “Now he is really looking like himself💀 so excited for Disney’s Halloween season🎃🖤🎃🖤🖤🔥🙌🏻,” one excited follower commented.

But Jack wasn’t the only one receiving the love! One fan pointed out that Sally also seemed to look different. “While Jack looks SO much better, I haven’t seen a single comment about Sally’s new makeup! Go off, cosmetology,” a user wrote.
Along with announcing the characters’ transformation on Monday, May 12, Disney also announced that tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will go on sale for all customers on Thursday, May 22. The spooky season events will kick off on Aug. 15 and run through Halloween night.
