Chad Michael Murray‘s popularity as a celebrity crush has popped off in a whole new way.
On Monday, the One Tree Hill alum was announced as the new celebrity spokesperson for Crush, and fans were simply enamored by his commercial debut for the soda brand.
The Instagram post showed theSullivan’s Crossing star promoting a new flavor of the popular soda brand launching in Canada: Crush Zero Sugar Orange.
“Your first crush is back,” the 43-year-old began in the clip before pulling out an ice-cold can of Crush Zero Sugar orange-flavored soda and cracking it open. “And all grown up,” he quipped, flipping his hair through the wind.

While the clip was brief, it was quickly deemed “so iconic” and overrun with comments from fans thirsting over not only Murray but the beverage.
“He is milking this heartthrob thing again like when the first Freaky Friday came out and I’m loving it,” one Instagram user gushed.
“I’m Crushed all the way back to when he pulled up in that tow truck on One Tree Hill. 🖤💙,” another quipped.
“My first crush and still my crush,” a third admitted.
“No for real the other day I was thinking to myself that I wish they had a no sugar version of this,” someone else wrote, apparently astonished they had their dreams immediately realized.
A different social media user poked fun at the promotion and the brand’s previous post, teasing, “Even the crush has a crush.”

While Crush Zero Sugar Orange may be new to Canada, it’s been available in the U.S. for some time and is currently rated a little over 4 out of 5 stars on the Crush website, by Amazon and Google reviewers.
