Lisa stunned in a glittering Louis Vuitton bodysuit and tights for her first-ever Met Gala
She is the third member of the K-Pop girl group BLACKPINK to attend the star-studded event following bandmates Jennie and Rosé
Lisa also made her acting debut this year in season 3 of HBO’s ‘The White Lotus’

If you didn’t think the global superstar could do it all, think again. After a massively successful year including a massive debut album, solo Coachella performance and television debut, the BLACKPINK member hit the 2025 Met Gala on May 5 decked out in Louis Vuitton inspired by the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme.
The White Lotus star, 28, wore a form-fitting black blazer with sheer panels and matching cheeky undies. Lisa also wore a pair of black tights emblazoned with the Louis Vuitton logo.
For accessories, the singer carried a black Louis Vuitton purse, black pumps and a pearl chain attached to the bottom of her jacket.
Lisa wore her honey blonde hair in a voluminous updo and kept her makeup soft and simple.
Her group mate Jennie was also in attendance and wore a custom Chanel look.

In October 2024, Vogue shared details on the 2025 Met Gala, announcing that Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour would be co-chairs for the event, alongside LeBron James as honorary chair. The gala, which is held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on the first Monday in May, is a fundraiser for The Costume Institute and spotlights the museum’s spring 2025 exhibition, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” the theme for the gala.

Curator in Charge Andrew Bolton said that the exhibit, which is inspired by guest curator Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity, explores “the Black dandy as both a concept and an identity signifier.”
The exhibit “presents a cultural and historical examination of Black style from the 18th century to the present through an exploration of the concept of dandyism,” according to a post on the museum’s Instagram.
The Met Gala’s dress code for this year is “Tailored for You,” a nod to the exhibition’s focus on menswear and suiting. This year’s event also has a star-studded host committee that includes Simone Biles and her husband, Jonathan Owens, Doechii, Regina King, Spike Lee, Usher and Angel Reese.

While 2025 is Lisa’s Met Gala debut, she’s already a fixture in luxury fashion.
As a former Celine ambassador and current Louis Vuitton and Bulgari spokesperson, the rapper has graced Fashion Week events across the world.
She’s also been one to watch on the carpet with her elegant and edgy ensembles. She most recently promoted season 3 of the White Lotus in three breathtaking ensembles, including a bejeweled Miss Sohee Couture gown for the Los Angeles premiere (she later changed into a curve-accentuating Schiaparelli look for the afterparty) and a regal fuchsia Louis Vuitton gown for the Thailand premiere.
In March, for the 2025 Oscars, she went menswear-inspired in a tailored Mark Gong look before making awards show history as the first K-Pop performer at the Academy Awards later in the night.

Even on the runway, the multi-hyphenate has been a hit. In October 2024, she took part in an all-female musical lineup for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which saw her bring her rockstar energy in an edgy all-black look featuring a bolero, bikini briefs and a leather bra. She even had her own wings, which were painted to match her outfit.
“It feels like a dream for me to be on that show and have my own wings,” she told Vogue, adding that while she didn’t get to keep the accessory, wearing it is a moment she’ll remember for a lifetime.

Just this April, Lisa collaborated with designer Asher Levine and Brett Alan Nelson on a collection of of avant-garde nature inspired costumes for Coachella. Levin opened up to Marie Claire after her performance during weekend one, sharing that it was “cool” Lisa tapped into the many personas that are the inspiration behind her first studio album, Alter Ego.
After the Met Gala, Lisa will reunite with her BLACKPINK members for the global group’s tour this summer, which marks their first since their 2023 Born Pink Tour.
