Olivia Munn is loving every moment with her little girl.
The Your Friends & Neighbors alum, 45, posted a few sweet memories of her daughter Méi to celebrate her turning 11 months. In the 10-slide carousel, Munn included several pictures of her daughter, whom she shares with husband John Mulaney, and clips of her crawling around the house.
“11 months of Méi ☀️ She is the happiest baby. She is enamored with everything her big brother does and he adores her (thankfully 😅),” she wrote in the caption. “She’s crawling and has said her first word (Mama 🥹) although we’ve hit a bit of a stall and she hasn’t said it much since 🙃.”
“She absolutely loves food- her favorite right now is Pad Thai,” she added. “She loves being outside in the world, going on walks, meeting people. She wakes up from sleeping with a big smile on her face every time (she gets that from John). She is 25 pounds of sunshine and love. Happy 11 months my Méi Méi girl… I’m so lucky. I get to spend the rest of my life being Méi and Malcolm’s mama.”

Mulaney and Munn were first spotted together in June 2021 and welcomed their son Malcolm Hiệp five months later. In July 2024, they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at a friend’s house in New York, with Sam Waterston marrying the pair and just Malcolm and one other witness in attendance. Two months later, the couple welcomed their second child together, daughter Méi June.
The mom of two recently shared a video on Instagram, revealing another milestone for her daughter: her first word. In the video, Munn is holding her little girl excitedly, coaxing her to repeat it on camera.
“Her first word was mama! I don’t have video proof of it yet but it’s true. It’s true. Can you say mama now? Can you say mama?” she said in the video, prompting her daughter to say the word.
“Her first word is Mama! 🥹🥰 And she surprised me by saying it on camera!! 😭 Although she upgraded to ‘Mom’ ” 😅,” Munn wrote in the caption. “Malcolm’s first word was Dada. Which I really loved for John because when he heard him say it his heart exploded. But with Méi, for all of the reasons, I was secretly praying for it to be Mama. 😭.”
Munn is enjoying all the highs and lows that come with being a mom of two little ones. Ahead of Mother’s Day, she shared a video of her holding up a questionnaire and a drawing that her son made for her, as he threw a tantrum on the floor. Munn posed next to her son after Mulaney asked if Malcolm wanted to take a picture with her, and the toddler responded he did not.
“For Mother’s Day Malcolm gave me 20 years back,” she wrote in the caption, alluding to the first question on the questionnaire that asked how old she was. In response, her son wrote 24 years old.
The Babymakers actress also spoke with host Jenna Bush Hager during an appearance as a guest host for Today with Jenna and Friends about how much her life has changed since becoming a mom of two.
“It is so much fun every single day,” she told Bush Hager, before explaining more about how her life specifically changed since welcoming her second child. “It’s like I just landed on Mars. This is insane. How does anyone do this?”

When it comes to raising her little ones, Munn admittedly is not the strict parent. On Thursday, April 17, the Iron Man 2 actress sat down with singer and daytime talk show host Kelly Clarkson on The Kelly Clarkson Show and talked about her parenting style, comparing herself to Robin Williams’ character in the 1993 movie Mrs. Doubtfire.
“I think it’s so funny. The crazier things [Malcolm] says, it just makes me laugh so much. John is much more like — like I will laugh in the moment of him doing something, like knocking all the flowers off the table, I think it’s so funny,” she said, demonstrating how Mulaney looks at her during those situations.
“And, I — because apparently we’re trying to teach him not to do those things, but I know I am the Mrs. Doubtfire of the situation,” she continued. “I am Robin Williams, and he is Sally Fields.”
