Yesterday, while out braving the New York City heat in summer whites, the actor championed an easy jewelry trend that has been making the rounds this year: the pendant necklace.
Hers was a long, beaded turquoise necklace that looked a little like yoga beads. It swung low over J.Law’s slouchy white tank, which she wore sans bra. For bottoms, Lawrence slipped into cargo-style parachute pants in a semi-sheer white, featuring a ribbon-tie belt and a patchwork design along the legs. And for footwear, she kept it cool in a strappy caramel sandals from Manolo Blahnik.
History has shown us that the Hunger Games alum loves dotting her street style looks with a pop of red, and this time around, she added the color via a velvety cherry-red shoulder bag with a belt-style strap studded with golden grommets. Big, round, alien-esque shades and a messy beach waves capped off the look. She also wore her gleaming diamond engagement ring from husband Cooke Maroney.
The Die, My Love star has been championing the pendant necklace trend all summer—and even before that. In July, she wore a sand-colored dress from the Row that she accessorized with a long cord necklace with a large, glossy, circular black stone pendant. She has since styled the same necklace with several other fits.
