Musician Zac Brown and jewelry designer Kendra Scott are engaged!
“We are so happy and grateful that we found each other,” the couple tells PEOPLE exclusively. Scott showed off her dazzling pink diamond as she and Brown posed for the sweet photos after he popped the question, and they smiled widely over the joyful event.

In May, the couple made their red carpet debut at the American Music Awards in Las Vegas, and a source told PEOPLE at the time that they had been dating for several months.
“They were set up by a mutual friend, and are totally in love,” the source said of the duo. “They are head over heels and have become inseparable.”
Brown, 46, and Scott, 51, also attended fellow country artist Jamey Johnson’s wedding in May, where they were photographed together.

At the AMAs, Brown, the lead singer of the Zac Brown Band, was awarded with the show’s first-ever Veterans’ Voice Awards, which spotlights artists who have made a lasting impact in the lives of veterans. The band also just announced a residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas for December.
“Bringing our new album Love & Fear to Sphere Las Vegas is a dream come true. It’s my masterpiece so far,” Brown wrote on Instagram of the band’s new album and upcoming shows. “This show is the story of my life that I have never shared, a journey through my imagination, music and stories that have defined who I am.”
Brown works closely with Hope for the Warriors, the nonprofit organization that assists combat-wounded service members and their families and is the founder of Camp Southern Ground, which is a residential camp for kids and teens during the summer months, and for the rest of the year, it serves veterans, aiding them as they assimilate back to civilian life.

Scott is also passionate about giving back through her Kendra Scott Foundation, which just donated over half a million dollars to organizations benefitting Kerr County flood tragedy. The source noted that philanthropy is part of their mutual attraction.
“It’s just one of the things they have in common,” the source shared.
The couple are each parents, and between them have eight children ranging in age from 11 to 23.
