Watch Justin Bieber Surprise Hailey With a Mariachi Band for Her First Mother’s Day

Justin Bieber didn’t give Hailey a lengthy tribute on Instagram, but he did surprise her in real life with a grand gesture on her first Mother’s Day. Justin posted footage of Hailey being serenaded by a mariachi band he hired. He captioned it, “🪩”

He also shared a new look at his wife and their son, Jack Blues Bieber, in a second post:

Hailey posted a simple reflection on her first Mother’s Day, writing, “i love being your mommy Jack Blues. Happy Mothers Day 🤍”

The model, who welcomed the couple’s son in August, has not yet given any in-depth interviews on motherhood. But in October, she told ELLE.com, “Welcoming my son into the world has obviously changed my whole life. That has been the best part of the year for sure.”

Last summer, she spoke to W magazine about how she was enjoying her and Justin’s last few months as just a couple. “In the beginning [of pregnancy], it was super emotional for me,” she said. “Like, ‘I love this human so much. How can I possibly bring someone else into this?’ I’m trying to soak in these days of it being Justin and me, just the two of us.”

Justin and Hailey got married in September 2018. They renewed their vows last May when they also announced their pregnancy news. The model had been six months along at that point.

“I probably could have hid it until the end,” Hailey told W. “But I didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly. I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”
