Travis Kelce‘s dad, Ed Kelce, shared his candid thoughts about Taylor Swift, revealing that he’s a big fan of his son’s girlfriend.
“She is a very special person. One of the most giving and caring people I’ve ever met,” Ed, 74, said of Swift, 35, while speaking to the Daily Mail on Monday, July 21.
Ed also reflected on his life in the spotlight, and he admitted that he’s still adjusting to living life in the public eye amid Travis’ romance with the “Love Story” singer. “It borders on the surreal,” he said. “There’s no ifs, ands or buts about that … it’s pretty crazy when you stop and think about it.”

Travis, 35, and Swift were first romantically linked in the summer of 2023, and they have remained one of the most famous couples in Hollywood. Despite supporting each other at his games and her concerts, the couple has been careful to keep most details of their romance private. However, some of the Kelce family members haven’t held back while sharing their thoughts about the “Cornelia Street” singer.
“I’ll tell you something very special that I noticed about Taylor the first time I met her,” Ed previously told People in 2022. “We’re sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around. Because in the suites everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can.”
He added that he found Swift to be “very genuine” right off the bat. “And I’m just thinking, I don’t think she got the diva memo,” the father of two said. “She didn’t get the spoiled musician. She doesn’t know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot.”
