Travis Kelce got tricked on the latest episode of New Heights!

The Kansas City Chiefs star joked to his brother Jason Kelce that he had been coerced into saying the number 13 — a nod to his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s lucky number — while discussing the week’s special guests, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Andrew Whitworth on Wednesday, May 14.

“Two NFL legends, Walter Payton Man of the Year, and most teams played on in a career,” Jason, 37, began in his intro. “They’re both here today.”

Travis, however, couldn’t believe that Fitzpatrick, 42, had played for so many teams.

“How many teams, Brandon?” Jason asked a staffer who was off-camera. “Do you know? I think 13.”

The Chiefs tight end then interjected: “It’s a lucky number.”

After some back-and-forth about the retired quarterback’s history, it was determined that he only played for nine teams — which is an NFL record.

“That’s it?” Jason said. “Oh, it felt like more. Okay. Honestly, I thought it was more.”

All of which Travis wasn’t having any of: “Yeah. He tricked me into saying 13.”

Jason joked: “That’s why I’m a tricky guy.”

This week’s podcast comes amid a busy time for the brothers, who appeared at the Amazon MGM Studios Upfront this week.

The Kelces cut slimmer figures while on the red carpet, with Jason and Travis both admitting separately to reporters that they have lost 25 lbs. in recent months.

For Travis, 35, it’s all about getting into better shape for his — wait for it — 13th season in the league.
