Travis Kelce revealed the similarities between his girlfriend Taylor Swift and his mom Donna Kelce in his new GQ profile
Travis said Swift and Donna share many qualities, including “kindness” and “genuineness,” as well as a strong work ethic
Specifically, Travis cited watching both Swift and his mother “reach goals” they’d set for themselves
Travis Kelce opened up about the similarities between his girlfriend Taylor Swift and his mom Donna Kelce, and his answer showed just how much the NFL star admires the two most important women in his life.
When Travis, 35, was asked in his GQ profile if there are similarities between Donna, 72, and Swift, 35, he said, “Their kindness, their genuineness, their ability to say hello to everyone in the room.”
Travis added that his girlfriend and mother also share an “ability to show love and support no matter what.”
He told the outlet, “And on top of that, their work ethic. I saw my mother reach goals she had set for herself, go from being a teller to working all the way up in the KeyBank building.”

The Chiefs star said he’s seen Swift — who just announced her 12th album The Life of a Showgirl in a teaser for her debut on Travis and Jason Kelce’s podcast New Heights — do “the exact same thing” as Donna, “of setting goals for herself and exceeding the expectations and really captivating the world in that regard.”
Travis opened up more about his relationship with Swift to GQ, revealing that they fell in love organically after meeting.
“Nothing I’ve ever done has been a controlled, organized process. When I say it was so organic, we fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with,” he said.
He added, “We are two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are. We share all those values. It kind of just took the f— off.”
Swift and Donna have spent plenty of time together since the singer was first linked to the NFL star in 2023. Donna has praised Swift’s music and was spotted at one of Swift’s Eras Tour shows.

Travis and Swift sent fans into a frenzy when they announced that she would be the guest on the Wednesday, Aug. 13, episode of New Heights, and especially when the NFL star called his girlfriend “sweetie” in the clip.
The teaser for the episode showed Swift revealing her new album title as Travis and Jason, 37, excitedly reacted to the news.

“TS 12!” Travis cheered after her announcement.
The cover for The Life of a Showgirl remained obscured in the teaser, and Swift’s website now displays the mysterious orange and green blurred album cover, alongside options to purchase vinyl, cassette and CD versions.
The CD edition will come with a poster. The track list for the album was not revealed.
