“This recognition really is truly the honor of a lifetime — a lifetime of happy accidents and good fortune,” he said in his acceptance speech, per Today. “From the people I work with to the people I live with, I’ve got an embarrassment of riches.”

Roberts shared an Instagram post from the evening in which she wrote how it was “oh so special” to share the evening “with my love and life partner,” calling it “a night to remember.”

The pair, who will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary in September, have a blended family which includes Courtney, Roker’s daughter from his first marriage to Alice Bell, as well as the two children he and Roberts welcomed together: daughter Leila and son Nick.
