The trailer for season two of With Love, Meghan has just dropped, promising more crafting, cooking, cocktails and celebrity guests. Both Meghan and Netflix posted the 90-second teaser on their social media platforms today with the announcement the series will air on August 26.
“I love the idea of spending time together and finding new ways to show people you care,” Meghan said in the trailer. She also revealed to the surprise of one guest that Prince Harry doesn’t like lobster. Her husband does not feature at all in the short clip; however, famous faces who pop up include model Chrissy Teigen and entrepreneur Jamie Kern Lima. “The best moments are made to be shared,” Meghan wrote in a post on her personal Instagram account under the clip.
In a news release yesterday announcing their ongoing partnership with Netflix, Harry and Meghan’s production company Archewell described series two of With Love, Meghan as “a fun and heartwarming new season.” The company said Meghan would be “welcoming celebrity chefs, talented artists, and beloved friends for hands-on adventures filled with laughter and discovery.” “From playful cooking challenges to DIY projects, Meghan and her guests explore bold flavors, experiment with new techniques, and discover simple ways to add beauty to everyday life. It’s all about embracing playfulness over perfection and finding joy in creating together,” the release said.
With Love, Meghan also has a special holiday episode which will air in December. “Together, friends and family deck the halls, create holiday feasts, craft heartfelt gifts, and share lots of laughs – with simple how-tos to follow at home. It’s a holiday wonder with warmth, tradition, and a generous dose of joy,” Archewell said about the show.
Harry and Meghan’s announcement yesterday that they have signed a new multi-year “first look” deal with Netflix comes after weeks of speculation the streamer was poised to cut ties with them when their current deal expires this September. The new arrangement gives Netflix first refusal on any projects the couple want to pursue, however there are no details about the financial arrangements. It has been seen by many as a loosening of ties between Harry and Meghan and the streaming giant after their original deal struck in 2020 was said to be worth $100 million.
