The View cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin revealed that she had an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction in front of Jude Law when the women were discussing some of their own cringeworthy moments.
“I accidentally flashed my underwear to Jude Law backstage once,” Griffin said during the June 26 episode of the daytime talk show. “My mic pack fell down my dress so at commercial, I run [backstage and get help from an audio technician]. I flashed up my skirt so she could help me move it, and Jude Law’s just standing there.”
She continued, “And then in my embarrassment — he just says nothing — I go, ‘I’m sorry, sir!’ Like, I made it worse by calling him sir! And then I maybe curtsied! It was brutal.”
Griffin’s cohosts, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Joy Behar and Ana Navarro, couldn’t hold back their laughter at her story. However, Griffin wasn’t the only one who had previously embarrassed themselves in front of others. Haines shared footage of a faux-faint gone bad during an appearance on Good Morning America in 2013.
In the clip, Haines pretended to faint in the arms of a man dressed as Spider-Man, but she miscalculated where she needed to land. Instead of falling into his arms, Haines fell flat on the floor.

“I had a moment once on-air,” the veteran broadcast journalist recalled. “I was with Spider-Man, and [producers] said, ‘Oh, you should do something damsel in distress-y.’ And so we rehearse, rehearse, rehearse.”
Haines added that when the cameras went live, their bit “just didn’t go as planned.”
“It was only the time cameras were watching that he missed me,” she concluded.
Wardrobe malfunctions and on-air blunders aren’t rare, and Behar even asked the audience if any of them had the unfortunate experience of something similar happening.
“How many of you have ever experienced an embarrassing personal malfunction?” she asked and instructed the audience to clap if they had.
Her request was met with what seemed like the entire room clapping.
“The whole audience?” she said. “Wow, it must be very common.”
