Jordon Hudson has raised plenty of eyebrows for dating 73-year-old Bill Belichick — but the reality of their relationship is rooted in something more stable than salacious.
Hudson, 24, simply grew tired of dating people her own age prior to meeting Belichick, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly.
The source shares that Hudson became disenchanted with how “immature” younger men were and started to prefer the treatment of “older gentlemen.”
“Jordon dated people her own age and didn’t like the way she was treated,” the insider said.

The source added, “Boys her age can be pigs … I can understand she wants to be treated more than just a sexual relationship and to have a connection.”
Prior to Belichick, Hudson dated 65-year-old businessman Joshua L. Zuckerman after they bonded over psychology, philosophy and nature, per TMZ Sports. Referring to her as a “good friend,” Zuckerman described Hudson “wise beyond her years.”
Some have speculated that Hudson, a beauty queen and former model, began dating Belichick, who signed a $10 million annual deal to be the head football coach at the University of North Carolina in December, for his money — but there’s more to that story, too.
“I don’t believe that to be the case,” the source tells Us, noting that Hudson “already had money and was living a happy and comfortable life before Bill.”
The insider claims that Hudson had a net worth between $1 million and $2 million thanks to her modeling career and real estate prowess before meeting Belichick on a plane in 2021.
“She has apartments in Massachusetts,” the source said. “She made her own money.”
Hudson has a real estate portfolio estimated at $8 million, according to multiple outlets, including three multi-family homes she purchased in the greater Boston area in December 2023.
Hudson, who was also an NCA collegiate cheerleading champion at Bridgewater State University, retains a close bond with her two sisters, two brothers, and her parents, Lee and Heath, who are divorced.
The family learned about Hudson’s relationship with Belichick before it became public and while the source acknowledged they were initially “shocked” to find out she was dating the legendary New England Patriots coach, “all that matters” is that she’s happy.
Us Weekly reached out to Hudson and a representative of Belichick’s for comment.
Hudson stirred controversy earlier this week when she interjected herself into Belichick’s interview with CBS Sunday Morning, which aired on Sunday, April 27, shutting down interviewer Tony Doukoupil’s question about how the pair “met.”
After Hudson’s behavior drew widespread criticism, Belichick defended his partner in a statement released through the University of North Carolina.
“I agreed to speak with CBS Sunday Morning to promote my new book, The Art of Winning – Lessons from My Life in Football,” Belichick said on Wednesday, April 30. “Prior to this interview, I clearly communicated with my publicist at Simon & Schuster that any promotional interviews I participated in would agree to focus solely on the contents of the book.”

The statement continued, “Unfortunately, that expectation was not honored during the interview. I was surprised when unrelated topics were introduced, and I repeatedly expressed to the reporter, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers that I preferred to keep the conversation centered on the book.”
Belichick claimed that the interview went off-topic “several times,” so Hudson “stepped in” in order to “help refocus the discussion.” He also added that he and Hudson “share a personal and professional relationship.”
CBS released a statement of their own on Wednesday, saying the interview with Belichick did not have any restrictions.
“When we agreed to speak with Mr. Belichick, it was for a wide-ranging interview,” a spokesperson for CBS News said. “There were no preconditions or limitations to this conversation. This was confirmed repeatedly with his publisher before the interview took place and after it was completed.”
