Sinners has been the hottest movie ticket at the box office for the past two weeks — and it’s starting to get on Sherri Shepherd’s last nerve.

On her eponymous daytime talk show, Sherri, she jokingly complained about how quickly screenings of Ryan Coogler’s vampire thriller have been filling up.

“It’s still hard to get a ticket for the movie, and I’m gonna show y’all — this is what the theater looks like right now in New York. It’s pretty much sold out,” she said, displaying a seating chart for a Sinners screening with only a few seats left unclaimed. “This is at 10 o’clock on a Wednesday morning.”

Shepherd then exclaimed, “Does anybody have a job over here?!”

The talk show host went on to explain that while she had already seen the film once at a private screening, she enjoyed it so much that she recently decided to head to the multiplex for a second viewing. And that’s when the film’s popularity became a problem.

“I had to go on a Monday at 11:30 in the morning because everything was sold out over the weekend,” Shepherd groused. “And still, even going at 11:30 in the morning, I had to sit right up in the front row looking up, and I was mad.”

Her frustration didn’t end there. Shepherd said that despite the packed theaters, she can’t yet talk about the film in detail because people will inevitably complain that she’s spoiling it.

“Every time I start talking about a movie, I get comments all over the internet that I’m talking about the movie and people haven’t seen it and I’m spoiling it,” she said.

Ultimately, Shepherd warned viewers that their days were numbered when it comes to Sinners spoilers. “The movie has been out for two weeks, and I don’t care that the theaters are packed: Get up early like I did,” she demanded. “You think I wanted to sit there and eat popcorn at 11 in the morning? But I did!”

She concluded, “I’m giving y’all one more week to see this movie, and then I’m gonna start talking.”

Sinners reunites director Coogler and star Michael B. Jordan for their fifth film together, following Fruitvale Station, Creed, Black Panther, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In a dual performance, Jordan stars in Sinners as twins Smoke and Stack, WWI vets who return to their Mississippi Delta hometown to start again, only to find it infested with vampires.

Since its April 18 release, Sinners has grossed more than $167 million at the worldwide box office. The film’s popularity has not escaped the attention of Coogler, who penned a thank-you note to fans after the movie topped the box office during its opening weekend.

The filmmaker wrote that the movie owed its success to the fans “who decided to drive to see the film in different formats. Who bought popcorn and a drink, booked a sitter and carpooled, and stood in the lobby afterwards and talked and made a friend. Who changed their work schedules. Who saw the film in groups… Who watched more than once, who recommended the film to others, both in person and on social media or on your text message chains.”

He continued, “We always had our minds on you, the audience, and felt a deep responsibility to entertain you, and move you in the way only cinema can. I believe in cinema. I believe in the theatrical experience. I believe it is a necessary pillar of society. It’s why me and so many of my colleagues have dedicated our lives to the craft. We don’t get to do what we do if you don’t show up.”
