Kristen Stewart & Fiancée Tie The Knot At Home

Although the nuptials did not eventually happen at the Oscars, the actress tied the knot with the love of her life over the weekend at her Los Angeles home in an intimate ceremony.

Kristen Stewart had joked about walking down the aisle with her girlfriend of six years, Dylan Meyer, at the Oscars during her first-ever nomination in 2022.

Stewart has officially married her fiancée, Meyer. The couple obtained their marriage license at a courthouse and exchanged vows during an intimate ceremony at Stewart’s home in Los Angeles. 

The couple looked ethereal in the almost matching outfits and simple hairdos, showing off their luscious blonde tresses. They completed their big day with white and blue bouquets, surrounded by their loved ones and loads of kisses.

Per TMZ, among the guests were Ashley Benson and her husband, Brandon Davis. Just the previous year, Stewart had shared in an interview that she and Meyer had been discussing the possibility of starting a family.

Stewart and Meyer got engaged in 2021 after Meyer popped the question, 8 years after their first meeting in 2013. The lovebirds began dating in 2019.

In a previous report by The Blast, Stewart shared intriguing insights about her wedding plans with Jimmy Kimmel in 2022. Despite confirming her engagement to Meyer in November 2021, she admitted that her hectic schedule has kept her from focusing on the details of her nuptials. 

“I’m trying to win an Oscar now,” she joked, adding that while she has done some dreaming about the wedding, actual planning has not begun.

While the couple has not finalized their wedding program, Stewart expressed a desire for Guy Fieri to officiate the ceremony, mentioning that she heard he might be interested. 

Kimmel humorously suggested that if the actress won the Oscar for Best Actress, she could hold her wedding at the prestigious ceremony.

Kimmel continued that the venue would provide her a free reception and eliminate the stress of managing a guest list. The actress agreed with Kimmel, saying, “That’s true.”

The actress received her first nomination for a prestigious award, recognizing her impressive portrayal of Princess Diana in the film “Spencer.” 

Reflecting on this milestone, she shared her parents’ reactions to the exciting news. Her father, John Stewart, responded as a typical proud parent, while her mother, Jules Mann-Stewart, took a more measured approach. 

When the actress called her mother early that morning to share the news, Jules acknowledged the achievement but reminded her, “That’s not why we do things.” 

After a brief silence, her mother admitted she was “a little gobsmacked” by the nomination. Despite her mother’s understated response, the actress paid tribute to her, expressing that she would not have achieved fame without Jules’s support.

In an interview last year, The Blast noted that Stewart discussed her upcoming romantic thriller, “Love Lies Bleeding,” which prominently featured a lesbian love story and included some “shocking” intimate scenes. 

She expressed her excitement about her character, Lou, being portrayed in a more masculine way, calling it “really sexy.” Stewart played Lou, a reclusive gym manager who falls for Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder traveling to Vegas to pursue her dreams. 

Their romance took a dark turn as it ignited violence and entangled them with Lou’s criminal family. The film also starred notable actors such as Dave Franco, Jena Malone from “The Hunger Games,” and Anna Baryshnikov. 

Directed by Rose Glass, who co-wrote the screenplay with Weronika Tofilska, the project was developed in collaboration with Film4 and co-financed by A24. Andrea Cornwell served as a producer for Lobo Films, while Oliver Kassman represented Escape Plan Productions.

The actress is married to the daughter of Oscar-nominated screenwriter Nicholas Meyer. Stewart recounted how she first met Meyer on a movie set in 2013, but the two only reconnected years later at a friend’s birthday party.

During an appearance on “The Howard Stern Show” in November 2019, Stewart reflected on their unexpected reunion, expressing surprise at how they had circled each other’s lives without truly intersecting.

“She’s been living in L.A. alongside my life somehow but not ever converging,” Stewart declared. Since confirming their relationship in 2019, they have publicly celebrated their love on Instagram with heartfelt tributes. They have been spotted together at various events, enjoying time with friends.

In addition to their blissful romance, Stewart and her wife collaborate professionally, working together on a TV show and co-writing a film script.
