Seth Rogen is not holding back when it comes to Jax Taylor.

The Platonic star, 43, sounded off on the Vanderpump Rules alum’s recent exit from The Valley following the show’s explosive second season.

“I don’t think Jax should come back at this point,” Rogen told PEOPLE of the reality star, 46. “He’s a pretty, maybe, just bad person. We can say that he’s been that way for 20 years on television or however long it’s been—he doesn’t seem like he’s going to change. He seems no better. Maybe he seems worse the older he gets, I think, in a lot of ways.”

As a self-proclaimed Bravo superfan, Rogen admitted he had already tuned in to the show’s season 2 reunion, which aired its first episode Tuesday, and didn’t hold back on his thoughts about Taylor’s behavior.

“I did watch the first episode of the reunion already this morning, and, I mean, he was so f–ked up,” Rogen said, referring to a tense moment in which Taylor’s estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, accused him of “body-shaming” her and not paying the mortgage on their shared home. “What a f–king a–hole. Yeah, a very bad, bad, bad character. Yeah.”

Still, the Emmy-nominated funnyman joked that he’d be more than willing to step onto the much-talked-about Bravo series and stir the pot himself.

“Maybe, if there’s a role, I would,” he teased. “Yes, if there’s a role, I would.”

Taylor announced he was “stepping away” from The Valley ahead of season 3 on July 16, telling Variety the decision came “after an incredibly challenging year and many honest conversations with my team and producers.”

“Right now, my focus needs to be on my sobriety, my mental health, and co-parenting relationship,” he said in a statement. “Taking this time is necessary for me to become the best version of myself—especially for our son, Cruz.”

Cartwright, 36, who shares the 4-year-old with Taylor, filed for divorce in August 2024 after five years of marriage, and she too agreed that a break from the cameras was overdue.

“I think it was a great decision. By everyone,” she said during a recent Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen appearance. Cohen echoed her statement, calling it a “good decision” and adding, “I think he needs to work out s–t without cameras around.”

While Taylor previously claimed he was “201 days sober” as of June and entered a treatment facility last fall following his bipolar and PTSD diagnoses, Cartwright shared that their relationship is still strained, and questioned just how sober he really is.

“He’s sober from some things, but not all things,” she said on WWHL. “I’ll just say that.”

As for where they stand now? According to Cartwright, it’s “horrible” and there’s “no trust whatsoever.”

The Valley airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
