It’s gonna be a damn good reunion, and people are gonna know about it.

Better Call Saul stars Bob Odenkirk and Rhea Seehorn and co-creator Vince Gilligan reunited at Entertainment Weekly‘s photo studio at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 on Friday.

Seehorn and Gilligan were at the annual fan convention to discuss their new project together, the sci-fi drama Pluribus, hitting Apple TV+ on Nov. 7. Meanwhile, Odenkirk was on hand to promote action thriller Nobody 2, in theaters Aug. 15.

The trio last worked together on AMC’s acclaimed Breaking Bad spinoff, which Gilligan co-created with Peter Gould. Better Call Saul took place shortly before the events of Breaking Bad, following Jimmy McGill (Odenkirk), a former con artist attempting to earn respect as a public defender as he transforms into Saul Goodman. The series ran for six seasons, ending in 2022.

Seehorn played Jimmy’s fellow attorney and love interest Kim Wexler, and earned two Emmy nominations for the role. Odenkirk scored six nominations for Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series, one for each season of its run, but never won for the role. The show itself tallied a whopping 53 nominations without a single win, setting the record for the most-nominated show to never earn an Emmy.

In a previous interview with EW, Seehorn named an intense moment with Odenkirk in the season 5 finale as her favorite scene in the series, describing it as “the whole thing of Jimmy and Kim teetering on breaking up, talking each other back into staying, feeling each other out and then [Kim’s shooting of] the finger guns.”

She elaborated on the unspoken language shared between the characters that was a particular highlight to her.

“It is such a product of what’s not being [said] and speaking in code to each other that it requires three things: great writing, two actors that know each other and each other’s characters extraordinarily well, and an audience that has followed that relationship closely enough that they also are getting what we’re saying. The whole thing is basically in code. That whole scene.”
