Rihanna didn’t let the downpour rain on her big Met Gala moment.
The singer, 37, was the most talked about attendee of the night as she flaunted her baby bump on the carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, where she announced that she and A$AP Rocky are expecting their third child.
While speaking with reporters inside the Met, she was not shy about hiding her pregnancy glow. In a video clip shared by Access Hollywood, the Fenty Beauty founder was asked if she had brought an umbrella — a reference to both the weather and her 2007 song — with her to the event.
How did she respond? “Rocky brought that,” Rihanna said with a laugh, before adding, “I brought the kid,” while pointing at her bump.

During an interview with the outlet, the “Lift Me Up” singer gave an update on how she’s feeling. “I feel a lot better now that I don’t have to suck my stomach in anymore,” she shared.
Before Rihanna made a grand entrance at around 10 p.m. local time (everyone — including her man — knows a red carpet moment only happens when she’s fashionably late), Rocky, 36, arrived solo.
In an interview with AP Entertainment, the rapper said it “feels amazing” to to be able to share their family milestone with the world. “We were tired of holding that and it was time to show the people what we were cooking up. I’m glad everybody’s happy for us,” he said.

Despite showing up to the party separately, Rihanna and Rocky wore coordinated styles in tune with this year’s “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme and “Tailored for You” dress code.

Rihanna went for a bump-baring Marc Jacobs look consisting of a gray bustier with a black floor-length skirt, cropped black jacket and oxford heels. She accessorized with a statement wide-brim hat. For an afterparty, the singer changed into a more skin-forward outfit complete with lace-up pants an an open ruffled top.
