The Promise That Almost Got Him in Trouble
Farber recalled that during their time on Dancing With the Stars in 2013, Snooki’s father, Andy Polizzi, called him to ensure his daughter was being looked after. Farber assured him that he had everything under control. However, things took a turn when Snooki showed up late to rehearsal one day.
“Rehearsal starts, she’s a little late. I was like, ‘Snooks, where are you?'” Farber recalled. “She’s like, ‘I’m coming. Sorry I’m a little late.'” Over an hour goes by, and Snooki finally arrives with her Jersey Shore castmate Jenni “JWoww” Farley. “She comes in laughing. I was like, ‘Babe, where were you?’ She’s like, ‘We got tattoos!’ I was like, ‘Her dad, he’s going to kill me!'”

The Challenges of Dancing with Snooki
Farber and Snooki faced numerous challenges during their time on the show. The grueling production and rehearsal schedule, combined with Snooki’s responsibilities as a new mother, made it difficult for them to find time to practice. They often had to fly back and forth between Los Angeles and New Jersey, which meant they sometimes missed a day of dancing.
“We would have to do a show and then fly out that night. And then, because it’s all the way in [New Jersey], you would lose a day, you wouldn’t sleep on the plane. So we would miss a day of dancing sometimes. And then we would come in and rehearse because she would want to get back to the kids,” Farber explained.

A Lasting Friendship
Despite the challenges, Farber and Snooki formed a lasting friendship. Farber described Snooki as “so much fun” and mentioned that they still speak regularly. “She supports me, I love all her stuff, she’s always got my back,” he said.
The duo advanced to the fifth week of competition, beating out celebrities like Christina Milian and Bill Nye, and pro winners like Mark Ballas and Sharna Burgess. Although they were eventually eliminated, Snooki found the experience “amazing” and expressed her gratitude for the opportunity.
