Rihanna is taking her baby bump out on the town—and, yes, RiRi’s signature boundary-breaking maternity style is officially back. The singer and her partner, A$AP Rocky, are currently in Cannes, France. After making a surprise appearance at the premiere of Highest 2 Lowest, the pair headed out for a cute date night on Tuesday, May 20. The couple were spotted at Palm Beach in France in coordinating black looks—and naturally, Rihanna showed off her growing baby bump.
The singer rocked a slinky little black dress with a single strap and an asymmetrical cutout that swept across her bare bump and revealed a glimpse of her rib tattoo. The daring dress also featured an ultra high slit on the right that reached all the way up to her thigh. She wore her hair down in voluminous waves and accessorized with a funky pair of bright pink shades. A$AP Rocky wore a simple black suit and matching sunglasses.

The couple had previously made an unexpected appearance at the film festival for the premiere of Spike Lee’s Highest 2 Lowest. Once again, RiRi wore a dress with a few cutouts to show off her growing bump. This time, she rocked a glamorous blue wrap dress with draping ties and matching blue shoes.

The singer first revealed the news of her third pregnancy earlier this month when she stepped out in gray two-piece just before the 2025 Met Gala. She later rocked a gray corseted suit dress with a large hat at the gala, before wearing a bump-baring black dress at a Met Gala after-party. Just a few days later, she was spotted out and about wearing a striped polo shirt and low-rise jeans that showed off her bump once again.

Rihanna has always been known for flipping the script on maternity wear. “It’s been me personally saying, I’m not going to buy maternity clothes,” she told Bustle in 2022. “I’m not gonna buy maternity pants, jeans, dresses, or [do] whatever society told me to do before.”
