Priscilla Presley is opening up about how she deals with the haters.
As the former wife of the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley, Priscilla, 80, has been no stranger to public criticism and harmful rumors over the years—and now she’s getting candid about her methods for brushing off what the haters have to say.

In a new Instagram video titled “Questions for Priscilla,” the former actress was asked how she deals with the “misconceptions” that have circulated about her since her relationship with Elvis.
Admitting that the misconceptions can be “hurtful,” Priscilla said she does her best to remember who she really is.
“I feel I’m a good person,” the Dallas alum stated in the clip, insisting, “I would never harm or hurt an animal or anyone.”
“What the tabloids say, how they make things up, yes, it’s hurtful,” she continued, while photos of past magazine covers spreading rumors about Priscilla flashed on the screen. “But I know who I am, and I care a lot for people.”

Priscilla, who was married to Elvis from 1967 to 1973, also said in the clip posted to Instagram on Tuesday, July 22, “You can’t please everyone, no matter what. They’re gonna believe what they wanna believe.”
The new video of Priscilla was met with an outpouring of support from her social media followers, as several users took to the comments to commend her for staying true to herself.
“You know your truth and the people around you. That’s all that matters at the end of the day. ❤️” one fan wrote under the post.
“People can be ruthless but you handle yourself with such class and grace,” someone else pointed out, while another told Priscilla, “We love you for who you are. 🌹”
