Prince Harry just turned heads with a sudden style switch-up on a date night with Meghan Markle—and at a Beyoncé concert, nonetheless.
On Friday, May 9, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out for a Cowboy Carter concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

A photo of the Prince Harry and Markle posing from the VIP lounge at the concert soon circulated online.
For the show, the 40-year-old son of King Charles III and the late Princess Diana donned a black shirt with black pants and a gray jacket. He finished the look with a matching cowboy hat.
The result was a major departure from Prince Harry’s usual dressed-up appearance featuring suits, ties and no head coverings.

On X, fans couldn’t help but comment on the Duke’s head-turning fashion choice.
One wondered, “Why does he look like he’s going into the jungle ‘I’m a celeb get me out of here’.”
Another commented, “The hat LMAOOO.”
Not everyone was negative, however—like one X user who pointed out, “They look incredible!!!! I love how happy they are.”

Prince Harry and Markle’s unexpected date night came on the heels of them celebrating their son Prince Archie‘s 6th birthday. Additionally, the outing came after Prince Harry lost an appeal involving the U.K. government paying for security for his family.
After so much going on in their personal lives, the busy parents likely needed a night out sans kids (they also have a daughter, Princess Lilibet, 3) and responsibilities. Hopefully, they had an amazing time!
