Pepperidge Farm’s New Milano Cookie Flavor for Fall ‘Sounds So Good’ originally appeared on Parade.
Pepperidge Farm is releasing a “cozy” new flavor of its cult-favorite Milano cookies, and it’s said to be so good that it might just serve as the fiercest competitor to that viral Taylor Swift recipe.
The beloved brand of pantry staples has a knack for spicing things up every season, and it’s no different this year. Ahead of the official kick-off to fall, the cookie brand is debuting its latest limited-edition flavor, the new Milano Chai Latte cookies, which it said is “the first-ever chai-flavored cookie to hit shelves.”
Seemingly inspired by the popular recipe from the pop superstar herself, Pepperidge Farm’s version takes everything fans know and love about its light, crispy Milano cookie and transforms it into a festive “cozy treat.”

The new cookie features premium white chocolate and warm chai spices like nutmeg, clove and cardamom, according to an official description. Ama Auwarter, vice president of Pepperidge Farm Cookies & Bakery at Campbell’s Snacks, further described the new item as a “reimagined” and “refined” version of the beloved seasonal beverage that “embodies the essence of fall.”
Even though the new variety isn’t out yet, it’s already a hit with fans.
“Sounds like it would be good!!!” one Instagram user declared, adding that they know this to be true because they “loved the London Fog ones, so I probably will like these too!!!”
“Oh YES 😍😍,” another gushed.
“Neeeeed these!” a third exclaimed, claiming they’d be purchasing multiple bags. “One bag to dunk in hot chai, and the other to crumble into some homemade chai ice cream in my ninja creami.”
“Can’t wait for these 😍,” one more added.
We’re happy to report that fans won’t have to wait all too long, as the cookies are due to roll out at Target, Meijer and Albertsons stores for about $5.89 (prices may vary) starting in August (which begins on Friday).
Oh, and that’s not all. Pepperidge Farm confirmed that two other fan-favorite fall flavors will also be returning to shelves this season: its Milano Pumpkin Spice and Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Cheesecake soft-baked cookies.
