Pat Sajak turned heads with a bold style switch-up one year after retiring from Wheel of Fortune.
Recently, the beloved game show host, 79, was spotted while out and about in Los Angeles for a lunch date, as captured in photos obtained by The U.S. Sun.

For the outing, Sajak donned dark gray pants with a light gray button-up shirt, gray shoes and a silver watch. The outfit, while still fairly dressy, was a much more casual look compared with the full suits he was known for wearing on Wheel of Fortune.
Sajak reportedly enjoyed a meal with friends at Larsen’s Eatery in the Encino suburb of LA.

On June 7, 2024, Sajak’s final episode of Wheel of Fortune aired.
“Well, the time has come to say goodbye,” he said before singing off for the last time. “And I want to start with all of you watching out there. It’s been an incredible privilege to be invited into millions of homes night after night, year after year, decade after decade. And I’ve always felt that privilege came with the responsibility to keep this daily half hour a safe place for family fun. No social issues, no politics, nothing embarrassing, I hope—just a game.”

Sajak continued, “But gradually it became more than that, a place where kids learn their letters, where people from other countries honed their English skills, where families came together, along with friends and neighbors and entire generations.”
In conclusion, he told viewers, “What an honor to have played even a small part in all of that. Thank you for allowing me into your lives.”
Ryan Seacrest took over hosting duties, with Vanna White still on co-hosting duties.
