On Sunday, July 27, fans noticed something was off. Craig unfollowed Rodriguez on Instagram, turned off comments, and wiped every post of him from her feed.

Serena Page and Leah Kateb—Craig’s closest friends from the villa—also unfollowed Rodriguez, along with their partners Kordell Beckham and Miguel Harichi. Craig and Rodriguez even removed each other from their Instagram bios.

In the spinoff, Rodriguez confirmed that he and Craig opted to live in separate apartments next door rather than move in together, explaining it was a deliberate way to preserve privacy and avoid the pressure of constant filming. During a chat with Variety, he also mentioned that Craig’s glam team occasionally made shared spaces feel cramped. Separately, Craig told People that living apart—her in Las Vegas, him in Dallas—helps “the heart grow fonder, but it also doesn’t put a lot of pressure on us to need to be with each other all the time. I kind of like it that we don’t live in the same city right now.”

That arrangement was a far cry from the close-knit dynamic they shared right after the villa. The couple placed third in season 6, and over the past year, they regularly posted about each other online.

Rodriguez once wrote on Instagram, “I still want you and need you, now I need to keep you.” In one of her own posts, Craig said, “You’re not just my best friend, you’re my safe place… I will always be here for you, even if things don’t work out the way we wanted.”

Though nothing’s been confirmed, a TMZ insider claimed that Craig ended the relationship Sunday morning and has been leaning on her friends since. Still, without an official statement, fans are left reading between the social media lines.
