The actress saw her career explode on the release of this film, where she gave an iconic performance as Elvira Hancock. She received huge praise for her performance, and blossomed into a star after its release.
Despite how well she portrays the character, Pfeiffer had a lot of doubt going into the role. On a recent episode of the Him and Her Show, Pfeiffer revealed more background into what it was like taking on this role.
Wow. We never would’ve guessed that she was so terrified of playing the role.
It’s obvious to see that Pfeiffer performs well under pressure. Fans took to the comments to sing her praises in the film.
