Meghan Trainor is anything but shy when it comes to plastic surgery, poking fun at her breast augmentation in the middle of her Wango Tango performance over the weekend — how hilarious is that?
For those who are unfamiliar, 102.7 KIIS FM’s annual Wango Tango Festival took place on Saturday (May 10) in Huntington Beach, California. This year’s festival featured performances from Doja Cat, Gwen Stefani, David Guetta, Meghan Trainor and more, but the latter’s performance featured an extra special surprise.

Trainor — who has been extremely transparent about her health and fitness journey — sang her smash hit “All About That Bass” during her set. In the midst of the song, the Massachusetts native changed the lyrics from “Yeah, it’s pretty clear, I ain’t no size two” to “Yeah it’s pretty clear, I got some new boobs,” and fans were anything but thrilled.
In the comment section of the above video, shared by 102.7 KIIS FM to Instagram, fans were furious, as the tune that was once about body positivity — celebrating all the curvy girls out there — had been changed to one that promotes plastic surgery. “Her changing it from ‘I ain’t no size two’ is so wild,” one user wrote, while another added, “Meghan you literally can’t sing this song no more.”
A third user wrote, “Why would she change the song that made her popular. The only reason people liked Megan is because of her body positive music. Every weird girl loved this song as a kid, and she just ruined the whole thing lol.”
Trainor doesn’t seem to care, though, as she is seemingly extremely confident in her body, openly speaking out about her procedures on numerous occasions.
“It was a big decision, but it felt like I was just doing something for me. This was my present to myself,” she previously told PEOPLE about her breast augmentation. “I feel so girly and I love it, and it makes me so much more confident, and it’s like the best decision I ever made, and I smile every time I shower.”
Her husband — Spy Kids star Daryl Sabara — seems supportive of the surgery as well. “He knows this was all about me. From the first meeting, I was like, ‘This has nothing to do with you. These are my boobies for me.’ He was like, ‘Whatever makes you happy. What a treat this is for me as well. I’m so supportive.’ I’m like, ‘I bet you are, buddy,'” she playfully added.
Nevertheless, the “Dear Future Husband” singer is as confident as ever in her new body, and that is something to be celebrated regardless.
