Mariska Hargitay flaunted her fabulous figure in a bikini during an Italian getaway with her children.
The Law and Order: SVU icon, 61, sported a chic striped bikini that featured thin straps and a high waistline, as seen in photos published by The U.S. Sun on Friday, July 4. Mariska seemed to be in high spirits as she enjoyed a day on the water alongside her eldest kids, August Hermann and Amaya Hermann. The My Mom Jayne director’s husband, Peter Hermann, and their youngest child, Andrew Hermann, were not featured in the photos.
Mariska has prioritized her mental and physical health over the years, which she credits for her strong and fit body.
The My Beautiful Stutter executive producer gave her trainer, Adam Rosante, a shoutout via Instagram in November 2020 for being a “great trainer” with a “huge heart.”
“He’s about much more than just getting your body in shape,” she wrote at the time.
Mariska is currently enjoying a break from filming Law and Order: SVU before the cameras soon pick up for season 27. However, she is soaking in the praise of her directorial work for the documentary, My Mom Jayne. The film dives deep into the life of her late mother and former Hollywood star, Jayne Mansfield, who died in a car accident when Mariska was three years old.
While promoting the documentary, Mariska gushed about August’s striking similarity to his late grandmother.
“He also looks so much like her,” the Emmy award winner said during the Tuesday, July 1, episode of the “The Run-Through with Vogue” podcast.
One month prior, August honored his grandmother by stitching her initials inside his suit at the Tribeca Film Festival.
“My son was so sweet because I wanted to put a heart or maybe a — you know, we talked about possibly putting a ‘J’ on his lapel, and then all of a sudden I went [gasped], ‘Her signature was so beautiful,’ and it’s part of the film,” Mariska reflected to TODAY.com about the sweet gesture.
“My son was so proud to wear it,” the Lake Placid star later gushed to the publication. “It was really extraordinary.”
