It’s the summer of rosé for Meghan Markle. The Duchess has just announced that a new vintage of her As Ever rosé wine will go on sale from next week. The news was delivered via the brand’s Instagram account alongside an image of the wine being served on a beach.
“Oh, how we love seeing the world through rose colored glasses,” the message on As Ever’s Instagram post read. “Rosé colored glasses? Perhaps even better. Our new vintage of As ever’s beloved rosé is available next week.” More information was also in the As Ever newsletter today, revealing that the new wine is a 2024 Napa Valley rosé. It follows the release of the 2023 vintage at the start of July, which quickly sold out.
A message signed by the As Ever team said that the new rosé “marries the same harmony of notes from our first blend and creates an elegant medley of delicate yet memorable flavor.” “You’ll want to clink glasses with friends as the sun sets, toasting to a summer of joy. Barefoot or in sandals, dressed up or dressed down, this rosé may become your favorite accessory for alfresco lunches and dinners at dusk,” the message ended. The brand has so far sold out of products including crepe mix, preserves, honey, tea and flower sprinkles. A Napa Valley sparkling wine is also said to be in the works.
Meghan did not post on her personal Instagram account about the latest product launch. Her last post to her four million followers there was on Independence Day, when she threw back to her first date with Harry on July 4 2016.
The news of the new rosé comes as the fate of Harry and Meghan’s partnership with Netflix, which is also a passive partner in the As Ever product range, is being discussed. Town & Country has heard that negotiations are currently underway over a new deal for when the current one expires in September.
