It’s going to be a very Taylor Sheridan fall. On a recent earnings call for parent company Paramount, co-CEO Chris McCarthy revealed that—along with new seasons of the Yellowstone creator’s Tulsa King and Landman—the fourth installment of Mayor of Kingstown will be hitting our screens in October.

What is Mayor of Kingstown about?
In the show, Jeremy Renner stars as Mike McLusky, a fixer in Kingstown, who Renner says “serves as a flawed system of checks and balances,” in a community “otherwise forgotten in society.”

Produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, Mayor of Kingstown follows the McLusky family – power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality, the series provides a stark look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither.

In addition to Renner, most of the season 3 cast is expected to return, along with a few new faces.
Edie Falco, best known for her turns on Nurse Jackie and The Sopranos, will play the new warden of Anchor Bay prison, with No Hard Feelings’s Laura Benanti joining as a corrections officer, and The Walking Dead’s Lennie James, as Frank Moses, a gangster.
