Lily Collins is back and she’s looking better than ever!
In an exciting new Emily in Paris update, Collins revealed that season 5 of the hit Netflix series is officially in production. She made the announcement by sharing an Instagram selfie from the set, and fans are already freaking out over her character’s brand-new look.

In the new photo, the 36-year-old actress—who plays the titular character on Emily in Paris—appeared in another one of Emily’s fabulous outfits while sitting on a Vespa and sporting her new, super-chopped hair.
After undergoing the major hair transformation in between the airing of Season 4 and the filming of Season 5, Collins’ new photo marks the first time fans are seeing her rock the new hair while in character as Emily Cooper.

“SHORT HAIR EMILY IS A SLAY 😍” one of her fans gushed under the new photo, while another user excited user added, “Yessssss I love you in this bob!! 😍😍😍”
“Omg omg!! The short hair!! Love!” another user chimed in with a comment, adding that they are “Beyond excited for season 5 ❤️❤️.”
The Instagram post, shared on Wednesday, May 7, was captioned, “Lights, Camera, Amore – Emily in Paris Season 5 is now in production!”
Judging by the photo of Collins on a Vespa, and the post’s inclusion of the word “Amore,” fans are almost certain that Season 5 is being filmed in Rome following Emily’s budding romance with Italian hunk Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini).
