It’s almost time to say goodbye to the Fab Five.

On July 9, Netflix announced the Queer Eye will come to an end after the show’s upcoming 10th season. Alongside a photo of the show’s current stars, Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Jeremiah Brent, and Karamo Brown, the streamer shared on X, “10 seasons. Fab Five. One last go ‘round.”

Production on the final season began in Washington, D.C. on July 9, the network announced in a press release.

The upcoming season will feature “one last round of unforgettable makeovers and heartfelt transformations” and “celebrate the show’s legacy and impact, spotlighting heroes from the nation’s capital.”

The Fab Five reacted to the news of the show’s ending on social media.

France, 42, reflected on the show’s legacy in an emotional Instagram post, sharing, “First day of the FINAL season of Queer Eye. It’s been a long, beautiful journey we’ve been on, and I truly appreciate all of the love and support for our little show, that changed my life in ways I never thought possible.”

“As we begin our farewell season here on D.C I simply want to say thank you! Thank you!!!!! ❤️” he added.

Porowski reshared the Netflix announcement on his Instagram Story, adding, “LET’S MAKE OUR LAST ONE COUNT”

Queer Eye — which is the longest-running unscripted Netflix series — has earned 37 Emmy nominations and 11 wins over its run, which began in February 2018. It also holds the record for the most wins ever in the Outstanding Structured Reality Program category with six consecutive wins in addition to receiving Critics’ Choice Real TV Awards and a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Reality Program.

Netflix has yet to announce the premiere date for season 10.

The announcement nearly two years after Bobby Berk — the show’s original home decor guru — confirmed his departure from the series.

In November 2023, Berk, 43, penned a heartfelt letter to “the Queer Eye Community who have become family to me” to announce his exit from the series after season 8.

“It’s with a heavy heart that I announce that season 8 will be my final season on Queer Eye. It’s not been an easy decision to be at peace with, but a necessary one,” he shared in part on Instagram. “Although my journey with Queer Eye is over, my journey with you is not. You will be seeing more of me very soon.”

Despite his decision to leave the show, Berk has no hard feelings toward his costars, according to a source close to the situation. “Bobby’s departure is unrelated to relationships with his castmates. The parting was amicable,” the source exclusively told PEOPLE at the time.

The source confirmed that Berk “has a handful of projects in development and is also busy with his own company.”

Queer Eye is now streaming on Netflix.
