Kim Kardashian has the power to make any moment flashy, photo-worthy, and headline-making—even a moment that could very well be considered a wardrobe malfunction for anyone else.
Today, the Skims founder stepped out in Paris for a fitting at Balenciaga’s headquarters. And while she was dressed to the nines in the house’s designs, her hair was pinned up with several clips—you know, the ones hairstylists use to keep your hair in place backstage, before the actual event; the ones that are not necessarily made to be worn outside.
But of course, if anyone can turn a faux pas into a coveted trend, it’s Kardashian.
Curled black bob covered in clips, the reality star slipped into a hot pink skintight dress from Balenciaga. The slinky piece was held up by a halter strap, and had a plunging neckline that went down nearly to Kardashian’s bellybutton. The bust was held together with two little straps tied into a bow.
Kardashian wore the dress with matching knife pantaleggings from the label, plus sleek shield sunglasses.
Kardashian is in Paris for Haute Couture Week, which kicked off earlier this week with runway shows from the world’s top designers. The shapewear mogul’s visit to France also comes just days after she stopped by Venice, Italy, with her mother and sisters to attend the lavish, star-studded wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez.
Kardashian also wore some Balenciaga while in the Floating City, as well as a string of body-hugging looks—from a snakeskin Versace dress to a lingerie-inspired look by Dilara Findikoglu, to a shimmering vintage Versace chocolate gown.
