At her concert in Nevada last weekend, singer Katy Perry left fans stunned when she stopped the show mid-way through because she had some choice words to say to someone in attendance.
A video of the encounter is making the rounds on TikTok, and in the clip, we see Perry spot someone in the crowd, and she points to them and says, “I know why you’re here.”
She then crouches down and proceeds to give the person a good “scolding.”
“Listen… if you keep DM-ing my man… Oh, Kyle… I know, I know… you’ve been doing it for months, ever since the residency. You didn’t come to see me play. If you keep on DM-ing my man, I’m gonna have you removed. Seriously, get your own life. I’m his wife… stay the f*** away.”
While it might have taken some people, both at the show and who viewed the clip on TikTok, to realize she was joking, the stunt was all in good fun.

One fan said, “Please, the way I thought she was serious.”
Another added, “She didn’t hold back 😭. I loved watching this in real time.”
Someone else clued everyone in to the fact that this was all part of a song transition, saying, “People in the comments not getting this is a song transition and not real. Lmfaooo.”
According to the New York Post, the song in question is, “I’m His, He’s Mine.” Ahh, yes… it all makes perfect sense now!
Nice one, Katy Perry. You almost had a couple of us totally fooled.
