Katie Holmes Gives Her Flower-Print Suit a Western Touch With This Accessory

Katie Holmes’s spring is booked and busy—and she’s dressing the part.

The actor and director, who has been spending a lot of time on the theater stage as of late, is returning to the screen for the second season of Natasha Lyonne’s drama series, Poker Face, which comes out this Thursday, May 8, on Peacock.

Holmes shared the happy news in an Instagram post, where she also posed in the loveliest springtime suit look. “Thank you @nlyonne for having me for season 2!” she wrote.

Holmes’s ensemble was composed of a fitted cream blazer and matching tailored pants, both covered in an elegant flower print in rich navy blue. Styled by Brie Welch, Holmes made the posh suit more relaxed by wearing it with a classic black tank top.

The actor added some earthiness to the ensemble via some dusty-brown accessories: pointy suede kitten heels, and a Western handbag adorned with cowboy fringe. Finally, she layered on some dainty necklaces.

The Rare Objects director’s glam for this look was just as striking. Holmes wore bronze makeup by Genevieve Herr and a wild, voluminous, curly mane courtesy of DJ Quintero.

Holmes’s upcoming cameo in Poker Face comes after she wrapped up Our Town, the Broadway revival she starred in with fellow TV and movie stars Jim Parsons and Zoey Deutch. The play has been nominated for a Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play.
