While Kate Middleton is known for her flawless fashion sense, she doesn’t stick to just one look. In recent weeks, she’s been seen in everything from a lacy white skirt to a tailored tweed blazer, with every outfit winning raves from royal watchers. But her latest appearance featured the return of one of the Princess of Wales’ most signature styles — the pantsuit — and fans couldn’t get enough.
While presenting the eighth Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design in London on Tuesday, May 13, the 43-year-old royal wore an olive green suit from Victoria Beckham with wide legs and a white ruffled blouse. Her recently highlighted hair fell to her shoulders in soft waves.
Of course, Middleton’s fans were quick to share their opinions about the suit on social media — and the consensus was a positive one.

“She looks absolutely stunning!!!” gushed one person on X.
“Her hair! And outfit!” added a second commenter.
“Wow, ‘If you’ve got it, flaunt it’. Those legs in those trousers. The cut is perfect, esp when she moves!!!” someone else pointed out, with another X user declaring, “How stunning is HRH!!”
According to InStyle, the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design honors designers who are “leading the way in sustainable practices,” with this year’s prize going to Patrick McDowell, whose brand is a hit with celebs such as Keira Knightley and Lady Gaga. Middleton stopped by McDowell’s pop-up studio during her outing on Tuesday, taking the opportunity to speak with several other sustainable designers as well.
