Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is fueling Katy Perry romance rumors after being spotted at the most recent show of the singer’s Lifetimes Tour.
On Wednesday, July 30, photos of Trudeau at the concert in Montreal were posted on X. The sighting comes just two days after the pair were spotted at dinner together.

Fans were quick to make comments on the unexpected pairing.
“Justin Trudeau at Katy Perry’s Lifetimes Tour in Montreal? This is a wild crossover…” wrote one X user. “this is objectively insane” said another.
On Monday, July 28, Perry and Trudeau were filmed at Le Violon, a well-known restaurant in Montreal. In footage posted by TMZ, they appeared to share drinks and multiple dishes while chatting across the table.
The rumored romance comes on the heels of Perry’s breakup with actor Orlando Bloom. Earlier this month, reps for the pair confirmed the split after weeks of speculation from fans. The couple share daughter Daisy Dove, whom they welcomed in August 2020.
“Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting,” reps for the pair saids on July 3. “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
As for Trudeau, who stepped down from office earlier this year, he has stayed mostly out of the spotlight since his 2023 split from wife Sophie Grégoire after 18 years of marriage.
“Hi everyone, Sophie and I would like to share the fact that after many meaningful and difficult conversations, we have made the decision to separate,” Trudeau wrote in a joint statement posted to Instagram at the time. “As always, we remain a close family with deep love and respect for each other and for everything we have built and will continue to build.”
