Jessica Alba is feeling grateful for another trip around the sun.
The actress-entrepreneur, who turned 44 on Monday, April 28, made a heartfelt Instagram post the following day to celebrate her birthday — “with grace and gratitude,” as she wrote.
“An important part of my reflection is remembering the essence of who I am and the gratitude I have for what I have been given… my babies, you are my greatest gifts,” Alba captioned a collection of photos that included snapshots of her daughters Honor and Haven and son Hayes, whom she shares with ex Cash Warren.

“Sometimes I get caught up in all the things of life and my drive for perfection is exhausting so I’m making space to accept myself – flaws and all and release the need to control,” she continued.

“As I move into this next year, I wish for myself what I wish for everyone – to feel loved. To feel seen. To feel accepted. And to know you are worthy of your biggest dreams.”
Alba’s photos included throwbacks: snapshots from her childhood ranging from infancy to teenage years. “To my baby self,” she concluded her caption, “you are safe and loved. Thank you to everyone for all of your birthday wishes – besitos.”
Also posted was an apparent birthday card from Alba’s son Hayes, wishing the Fantastic Four star a happy birthday in Spanish.

Jessica Alba, Cash Warren and family
Alba announced in January that she had filed for divorce from Warren, 46, her husband since 2008. Before filing in Los Angeles County court, citing irreconcilable differences, The Honest Company founder confirmed the split on Instagram.
“I’ve been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” Alba wrote at the time. “I’m proud of how we’ve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
Alba filed for joint custody of kids Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7. The family recently spent Easter together amid Alba and Warren’s divorce.
Following her hiatus from screen acting, Alba starred in last year’s action thriller Trigger Warning and has among her upcoming projects Maserati: The Brothers.
