It was date night at the 60th annual Academy of Country Music Awards! With several of our favorite country stars walking the red carpet alongside their significant others, one couple stuck out to us as being cute-as-can-be: Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo.
Yesterday (May 8), at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, Jelly Roll and Bunnie stepped out in matching black ensembles, turning the heads of everyone on the red carpet. Jelly Roll rocked a black bomber jacket with lace detailing — accessorized with a massive silver chain — while Bunnie matched in a lacy gown, complete with cutouts and a sexy slit.
After posing for a few photos, the Tennessee native broke away from his wife for a few minutes to speak to the media, notably Katie Austin with Country Now.
Kicking off the conversation, Austin — the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, entrepreneur, fitness trainer and former Division I lacrosse player who was hosting the red carpet on behalf of Country Now — asked Jelly Roll “Is Bunnie here tonight?” and the “Son of a Sinner” singer swiftly replied, “She is,” before gushing over his “glowing” wife.
While she is effortlessly stunning, Jelly Roll chose to touch on her magnetic energy instead, “I’m surprised you haven’t seen the glowing group of women following her all the way through here. Literally she gets followed around like Jason Momoa by women” — how hilarious (and adorable) is that?
Naturally, fans were smitten over how much Jelly Roll loves Bunnie. “I love that he speaks so highly of his wife,” one fan wrote in the comment section of the post, while another added, “Jelly is freaking cool and Bunny is stunning inside out.”
To follow, Austin asked the “Need A Favor” singer to offer just one piece of advice before the conversation concluded, shifting the conversation away from his wife and towards his faith. “Jesus is a lot cooler than we’ve made him look out to be, and find your own relationship with him, and introduce yourself to him, and find out how f—–g awesome he actually is,” he concluded, passionately.
Naturally, fans obsessed over this statement as well. “Love that he is so bold for Jesus,” one fan wrote, while another added, “I love what Jesus is doing in this man’s life.”
Nevertheless, for all things Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo, you may keep up with the couple on Instagram for all the updates: @jellyroll615 and @bunniexo_.
