Jamie Lee Curtis embraced her inner rock icon by channeling Pat Benatar.
The actress, 66, shared a side-by-side photo of the singer, 72, and herself via Instagram on Sunday, August 17. In the pictures, Benatar and Curtis sported a similar gray hairstyle with shoulder-length waves and bangs. Both women wore silver jewelry, while Curtis added coordinating aviator eyeglasses.
“Well, I guess the secret is out. I think Tess is really, really, really into @benatargiraldo and MAY have stolen her look for #freakierfriday,” Curtis captioned the post, referring to her character from the Freaky Friday sequel that was released on August 8.

In her photo, Curtis was dressed up as her onscreen alter ego while attending a Freakier Friday Tess lookalike screening at El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles on Friday, August 15. For the event, she rocked an edgy asymmetrical denim top and wide leg pants with a thick black belt from the film as well as her character’s hairstyle and glasses.

“Mommy is in the Freakier house of the mouse @elcapitanthtre for a Freakier Friday night screening!” she wrote via Instagram on Friday. “I definitely had to dress up a little. @disneystudios.”
Curtis and Lindsay Lohan reprised their roles as mother-daughter duo Tess and Anna Coleman in the body-swapping sequel 22 years after the original film’s 2003 release. Chad Michael Murray and Mark Harmon also returned for the follow-up, once again playing Anna’s ex Jake and Tess’ husband, Ryan, respectively. New additions to the cast included Julia Butters as Anna’s daughter, Harper, Sophia Hammons as Anna’s soon-to-be stepdaughter, Lily, and Manny Jacinto as Anna’s fiancé, Eric.
Curtis was instrumental to making the sequel happen after fans repeatedly lobbied for a new movie over the years.
“I kept saying, ‘Well, you know what? We can’t make a sequel until Lindsay’s old enough to have a teenager,’” she explained on ABC7 New York earlier this month. “They went, ‘Jamie, she’s 35.’ I was like, ‘She’s not 35!’ They were like, ‘She’s 35.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, sure! She could’ve had a baby at 20! [Disney CEO] Bob Iger!’ So when I got home, I called Bob and we talked about it, and now we’re here.”
