It’s Going to Be a Very Taylor Sheridan Fall

For some, fall may be the season of sweaters and getting the kids back to school, but for fans of Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan’s ever-expanding universe of shows, autumn 2025 is going to be all about the drama.

In a recent earnings call, Paramount co-CEO Chris McCarthy offered a number of updates on some of Sheridan’s upcoming projects, revealing that no less than three are now planned to debut before the end of the year.

First up in September will be Tulsa King, the Sylvester Stallone-starring dramedy about an aging East Coast mobster who develops a new criminal enterprise for himself in Oklahoma. The series will debut its third season on Sunday, September 21, 2025 on Paramount+, with new episodes expected to follow weekly after that.

The following month, in October, the fourth season of Mayor of Kingstown will hit screens. McCarthy didn’t reveal the official premiere date, and thus far Paramount has not offered an official confirmation. Starring Jeremy Renner, the show centers on Mike McLusky, a fixer in the town of Kingstown, Michigan, who plays both sides of the law to try and do right by his family and community. Along with the show’s core cast, Edie Falco is joining the production for season four—in what’s sure to make for a dramatic showdown.

The final bit of news might be more disappointing for fans, as the debut of the Billy Bob Thornton-led Landman season 2 has been pushed back a month from its previously planned November premiere to some time in December. As with Mayor of Kingstown, no specific date was shared, and no reason was given for the delay on the West Texas oil drama.

Landman wasn’t the only show whose schedule got a shuffle, according tot he earnings call. McCarthy also noted that the Rip and Beth Yellowstone spinoff (which has been referred to as Dutton Ranch, despite star Cole Hauser’s assertion that that won’t be the title) has been moved from a premiere date this November to some time in 2026. McCarthy didn’t narrow that date down any further or clarify why the show was pushed out of the fall schedule. So far no information has emerged about when the show will begin filming, or any additional details about the production.
