Cassidy Miller posted a TikTok video of herself preparing and eating a raw tomato at a fine-dining restaurant in Las Vegas as an appetizer served in replace of the usual bread.
The clip went viral, racking up thousands of comments about her over-the-top reaction to the simple food concoction.
Miller has since made tomato and lemon content her niche on TikTok, in part in response to the “haters” who raided the comment section in her initial video.
The Internet is eating this one up.
Influencer Cassidy Miller uploaded a TikTok video of her dining experience at LPM Restaurant & Bar in Las Vegas, specifically preparing and eating an entire raw tomato that was served in replace of bread ahead of her meal.
Surely, the uncommon tomato appetizer itself warrants a reaction alone; however, it’s the New Jersey native’s eye-widening reaction to the juicy vegetable upon the first bite that has the internet going wild.
“Okay so we’re at LPM in Vegas and they give out tomatoes and lemon as your little bread at the table, which is great for me because I’m gluten-free, so this is like iconic,” Miller began the video, setting the scene at her table as she started to slice a sliver of it on her plate.

“So I’m assuming we just cut. We’ll do a little bit of lemon,” she continued, taking half of the yellow fruit to squeeze onto her tomato slice before grabbing the olive oil bottle to drizzle atop. She then cranks on salt and pepper.
Once her tomato was prepared, Miller picked up her decked-out slice and made a toast. “Cheers!” she says, before then taking her first bite. As for what happens next, “love at first bite” would be an understatement.
Viewers could be fooled into believing that a bite of tomato was the best thing Miller’s ever tasted in her life given her reaction alone. Her eyes went wide as she chewed and shook her head in disbelief, nearly at a loss for words.

“If someone brought me a tomato in place of bread I would contact my lawyer immediately,” commented another.
“Girl it’s a tomato relax 🤣🤣” a third wrote. “Not you acting like a tomato and lemon is the best thing ever 😭😭😭 bsfr,” penned a fourth.

Since the video was first shared on March 7, Miller has seemingly leaned into the viral tomato moment. The content she shared in the weeks that followed has been spoofs of her original clip.
“This one’s for my haters,” she captioned a TikTok video, featuring her own tomato and lemon preparation from what appears to be her own home.
“Nature’s cereal,” she wrote in another clip, which sees her preparing a bowl of baby tomatoes with a squeeze of lemon and salt on top. She then proceeds to eat her concoction with a spoon and can be heard saying, “mmm,” as she enjoys a scoop.
LPM Restaurant & Bar is located in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas known for its cuisine inspired by the French Riviera, coastal Italy and the shores of the Mediterranean. “Each dish and drink at LPM is crafted to deliver an unforgettable and one-of-a-kind culinary experience,” per its website.
The high-end eatery, which has an “upscale” dress code, touts several signature dishes. Grilled Chilean bass with chili and lemon confit, warm prawns with olive oil and lemon juice and french toast with spiced Chantilly are among them.
Miller isn’t the first to talk about LPM’s tomato-tizer experience. The restaurant included a review from a previous customer who raved about it on their website.
“LPM offers an elevated and intimate dining experience that somehow still feels relaxed. From cutting whole tomatoes right on the table to the creative cocktails, I truly feel like I’m transported to the Mediterranean when I’m here,” it reads.
