Anna Chlumsky is keeping fans on their toes with her latest movie role.
The actress and former child star, who many fans remember from her role in the 1991 film My Girl, was spotted on the poster for the new comedy film Bride Hard, and it’s safe to say many fans were pleasantly surprised to see her.

“Is that our girl Vada?!?! 👏👏👏,” one fan wrote under an Instagram post revealing the official film poster, referring to Chlumsky’s character in My Girl, which also famously starred Jamie Lee Curtis, Dan Akyroyd and Macaulay Culkin.
“That’s Vada? OMG. I haven’t seen her in years,” another commenter wrote, adding, “Totally watching this!!”

In addition to her role in My Girl, Chlumsky, now 44, is known for a myriad of other projects, including the TV show Veep and the Netflix limited series Inventing Anna.
Someone else chimed in to admit they were “surprised to see” Chlumsky in the Bride Hard role, but fans definitely were not mad about it.
“Love the amount of talent oozing out of this movie,” another user added. “You just know it’s going to be incredible 😂.”
“🔥🔥 All the best ladies…!!👏,” someone else wrote about the cast, which notably includes Pitch Perfect alums Rebel Wilson and Anna Camp, as well as Gigi Zumbado and Da’Vine Joy Randolph.
Bride Hard releases in theaters on June 20.
