Bobby Flay and Brooke Williamson are bringing their new romance to Beat Bobby Flay! The Food Network couple posted an adorable video teasing the Thursday, August 8, episode of the series on which Williamson will serve as a judge alongside Laila Ali, and her new boyfriend hilariously pranked her in the silly promo clip.
After being asked what it takes to beat Bobby Flay, Williamson gave her earnest response: “Have the confidence to know that you can beat him,” she began. “Experience means everything. Everyone walking into this kitchen has experience. Know that you can do it, and just do it!”

The funny part? Flay is standing behind Williamson the whole time, reacting to her response and teasing her. “Lol… I’m so clueless,” Williamson commented on the video with a facepalm emoji, confirming she had no idea he was there the whole time.

Fans were loving the sweet behind-the-scenes interaction and took to the comments with their reactions. “Aw, I liked this side of Bobby,” said one fan, while another wrote, “We need more content with you and Miss Brooke!” A third wrote, “You can see Brooke’s eyes light up when she looks at Bobby.”
However, others questioned how fair it is that Williamson appears on several of her boyfriend’s shows. “That’s awesome, but she still shouldn’t be a judge on this or anything else of his,” one said. In addition to both competing on and judging Beat Bobby Flay in the past, she’s also appeared on BBQ Brawl and Bobby’s Triple Threat, but one fan on Reddit noted that so far, they haven’t actually judged each other’s work.
“I don’t have a problem with it,” they wrote. “She’s not judging Bobby, just the first round. In Triple Threat he’s not judging her, he’s just the host. This is clearly a promo piece for the upcoming Grudge Match that starts next week.”
The pair first went public with their relationship in April 2025, and have gotten more comfortable sharing more of their relationship on social media and at events.
