Iconic ‘90s Actress, 49, ‘Still Looks Gorgeous’ at Comic Con 26 Years After Starring in ‘Varsity Blues’ originally appeared on Parade.
Do you remember “Varsity Blues”, the teen football classic from 1999? Amy Smart, who played Julie Harbor alongside James Van Der Beek, just made her very first Comic Con appearance, and let’s just say time has been incredibly kind to her.
At 49, Smart made her debut at Steel City Con in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, over the August 8-10 weekend, and fans couldn’t get enough. The event organizers hyped it as her first foray into the con world, and by all accounts, she nailed it.
In a photo shared by @steelcitycomiccon, Smart beams at her booth, wearing a chic dark floral blouse that oozes effortless style, her long blonde hair flowing. She still has that radiant glow that made her a standout in films like “Crank” and “The Butterfly Effect”, proving some people get better with age.
